I will try it right now.

Have you thought of using UIDs instead of paths? Since we probably will all move to AT based objects, all objects will have a UID. It will keep the count when an object is moved, which is better imho.

But the downside would be that it only would be usable in Plone sites.

Could you explain/eive a reference to an 'AT based object' - I'm interested in a system where when the object is moved the URL is re-calculated - which sounds like what you are suggesting - but what it is you are referring to?
