mxmContatcs: view permission missing

Posted by Anonymous User at 2006-03-31 12:09 PM
I installed mxmcontacts.
If I access the site as manager I can search contacts, while if I access as member I can't search contacts (I obtain Insufficient privileges)
I note that in the system trere isn't a mxmcontacts: view permission defined.

what is the problem?
How can I resolve it?

thank tou!

It just uses the plain "View"

So it shouldn't give problems. Can you describe the problem in more detail?

Confirmed - exactly the sam problem here.

We have exactly the same problem.
As soon as we click on mxmContacts type object as an authenticated user you can see "Insufficient privileges".

If you try access as anonymous user you can see its contents (but then there are other problems, like empty groups and invisible contact details (you have to mark it using a mouse, sometimes a few times, to make it permanently visible)).

The other problem is that when you add the second (EMPTY!) mxmContacts object you can see contacts and groups belonging to the first one.

I can *not* reproduce this.

You need to be more precise. I need setup info and some tracebacks. It might be a version problem.

Please send them by email.
